Kublai was originally perma banned from eve-online (the game and forums), but it was changed to 3 months after much work and a rather large Scrapheap challenge thread about the entire issue.
It was because of a forum post, but as the ban wasn't instant who can remember what number the post was.
I imagine it won't be too hard to track down, though obviously it's modded from eve-o.

he was one of the first to post all above him were condolences to the family only, and then he went on to attack those that said it was in bad taste. How is that insulting people making his death cool with no one ever did.

I wasn't there, but from what I can tell from the responses in this thread he posted the cliched "Can I have your stuff" post in a thread about an EVE player that was murdered.
Apparently it tickled DEs funny bone that that's why he says it was worth it.
And if my assumptions are right I agree, he deserved the ban. Totally classless comment.
Clueless nitwit, Kublai posted "Did he drop any good loot? Ps. I know it's old but quality never dies! (unlike Brian here)" in a thread about some guy who died in his sleep, the thread in his "honor" was more about a guy begging for donations for a CNR than honoring some guys memory.
Mematar then directly copies kublai in the thread about that beachie person who got shot in the face and guess who ends up instantly banned? the both of them.

It's amazing how ignorant people are, the next time you want someone perma banned at least have the courtecy to find out for WHAT you're requesting them perma banned.
